Stand of aglazed lamp

The lamp was found in the cultural layer of the 14 – 15 cc. in the Otyrar settlement, which is one of the historical and cultural monuments of Kazakhstan. This time is the highest period of prosperity for the city. Otyrar became a major trade and craft center of the Great Silk Road. The lamp was made in the pottery workshop of the city of Otyrar, but widespread in China in the form of “dragon”. For this reason, the scientists consider the exchange of cultures of the East and West is a natural law. Thus, since ancient times, the Great Silk Road has served as a connection and exchange of different cultures and ideas of the peoples of the East and West.
